Today is quite frequent to find photos of people’s feet at social networks. This was something rare when footearth started online in 2009. Its developer discovered that “foot” pics were the best way to recall his experiences all over the world. He started to collect this “strange” photos of his feet on the earth of Brazil, Paris, Seattle… and created footearth to upload all this pictures, geolocating them, and allowing other “footers” to follow this project. Footearth aims to show the more real panoramic of the world through everybody’s steps on it. The site www.footearth.com is still online but it needs to be reworked and updated.
